Happy Mid-May bbs,

Right now in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada (where I am) the temp is:
-3 c (or 26.6 f)
With the wind-chill, it feels like -9 c (or 15.8 f)

To compare and contrast,

Right now in Irkutsk, Siberia, Russia the temp is:
0 c (or 32 c)
With the wind-chill, it feels like -7 c (or 19.4 f)

Right now, I am wearing a full length flannel nightie, wool socks, fleece slippers, a sweater and a shawl... INSIDE. Because you know, in May it's supposed to be SPRING so the heat in the building is off.

I slept under a polar fleece blanket, then my first feather duvet (in a flannel cover, then my SECOND feather duvet in cotton. Oh, I SO did not want to come out today.

And then this morning, to add insult to injury, my car door locks froze and I had to defrost them with a HAIR BLOWER so I could get the kids to school. It rained, then frozen rained, and then snowed 10 cm. last night. This city is a Skating Rink Of Doom today.

Grrrr!

I WANT TO BE IN SINGAPORE with Jehane or Florida with Clio... even if there are WAY to many people:-)

Thank goodness for the net... at least I can think warm thoughts...
