My kids are getting hooked on the Davids's music!

This is one of the most fabulous live performance videos of all time. It reminds me a hell of a lot of singing with my youngest, bbben, which we do almost every time we are together, which makes MK moan in pretend agony.

BTW, I caught MK (15) warbling David Cook's version of "Little Sparrow" in the shower last night, which was just total

I am totally snickering at your precious sons singing along to the Davids! I knew BBBen would get into the boys, his taste is just too awesome to not appreciate them. ♥!

And, certainly, the pic is supposed to be professional ;) It would not do to have a website pic of me in a bikini dancing on a table (not that any such pic exists, ahem). This is me in my evening gown and bling at a co-worker's wedding. If you squint, you can see HSP's head and arm beside me, tantilising me with his hotness ;p

It is nice to have a face to put to the person... I'd return the favour but I don't even think I have a picture of me on the net anywhere... I'll take a look.

I'm almost at 2000 words now, and it's like pulling teeth, and it's probably a shitty chapter anyway, but I do not believe in writer's block.

I think you just sit down and fake it til you can make it. (Or something like that!)

I am glad you got a good snicker out of it... me too!

All of my boys are heavily involved in music, but bbben knocks me OUT.

We spend HOURS sharing our favourite songs, bands, and lyrics with each other, and man, he has turned me on to some awesome music. (and I have returned the favour:-)

It was bbben who got me hooked on Alejandro Fuentes, Kurt Neilsen, and several other wonderful Norwegian singers.

Yes, simple repetition seems to have worn MK's resistance down.

The funny thing is, he listens to the Ben and I singing along with the Davids and makes frequent interjections of "that's so Gay!", whereupon I turn mildly quizzical eyes on him and enquire, "Um... perhaps, but why would that be a bad thing?"

This always stops him cold. I can see him thinking, "Hmmm, it's not a very good insult if the other person doesn't see Gay as a bad thing..."

Now bbben copies my reaction exactly, which is too funny.

MK is such a testosterone-ridden 15-year-old, and that it's 'Little Sparrow" that he sings unconsciously the most is love love love...<3<3<3

Bbben has the best musical taste of ANY 12-year-old I have EVER met. What a very cool and awesome child he is....<3<3<3

All three of my sons are so unique and so amazing... even if I want to spank MK every-so-often (not that I condone corporal punishment!) But it's tempting sometimes...
