i dont know what im going to do. im so lost right now. my cheeks are wet from tears dripping on them; and my voice is hoarse from yelling. idk what i am going to do next year...furman or stetson? or maybe one of the others? I have no clue. all i know is i ave until noon tommorow or my parents are making the decision for me. im so confused right

Don't worry, just do what your heart tells you.
Pick the school you want to go to.

and here's a small piece of adive they dont tell you. If you dont like the school, you can always go home and either go back at another time (like me) or just go to another school.

i really hope you make the choice you want to make. I have full confidence in you and i know you'll do fine.

Here is the advice that I can give looking back on things...
It's a really really hard decision to make and there is no "right" answer. In the end, you just have to go with what seems best. I have come to find that no matter where you go, as long as you are positive about it and willing to make an effort to be happy, you can have a good experience. Whether people chose my school as their first choice or were forced in to the decision, they have an equally likely chance of finding happiness there and seem to have done so. DOn't stress too much making the decision that is "right," worry more about having a postive experience and knowing that whatever decision you make is the one that is best for you. Good luck with it! I am sure that in the end it will be fine. It's a scary move and a huge life change but it is so worth it.

Thanks guys...ur comments were really sweet. :) In my heart, I want to go to Furman...but I feel horrible doing that to my parents. Id need a 40 000 dollar student loan; which, tho they wouldnt have to pay it...my dad looked so sad cuz he felt bad he couldnt make enough money to get me there. My mom is sad because its far and she says she wont be able to see me as much.

I know the feeling. I didn't want to put my family under any financial stress and the decision was really hard for me to. Think about everything involved and do what's best. No matter waht decision you make, it will be right for you. Just know that going in and make the most of wahtever decision it is. Remember that with a good attitude and a little work, any school can be the right choice.

martha.......if u cant decide......and push comes to shove......flip a coin, roll a dice, or pick a name out of a hat.....seriously where u go doesnt matter nearly as much as what u learn while ur there......

and apparently the only schools uve been accepted to that will cost u money will be furman and UM, so if money is the issue, remove them from the options........:)

u got my prayers martha....choose wisely, but if all else fails......choose anything! :-)
