Milton

We in Florida are all watching TS Milton, soon to become a hurricane.   As of right now we are directly in the projected path when it makes landfall, but things can change.  Supposed to make landfall Wednesday as a cat 3.

I read about Milton last night and its path. I hope you can find a secure power source for Pete's oxygen. Want to come visit Oregon for a bit? Guaranteed hurricane-free.

That would be nice! Thank you! We have almost made up our minds that we are going to stay put. On our little cul du sac of nine houses most of us are staying. One of our daughters lives about 8 miles east of us inland. If we do go anywhere, we would go there.
Milton will be worse for us than Helene. It looks like we are in the bullseye with wiggle room 50 miles north and south. I haven't been this concerned since Charlie came up the coast several years ago, but at the last minute went east and up the middle of the state. Keep thinking of us, we need all the positive energy we can get.

I'm glad you have a close alternate location and folks who can all watch out for each other. I will send a mountain of good thoughts for you and everyone in Florida.

You are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope that TS Milton fizzles out and just goes out to sea.

Thanks for

that, Kat, but it doesn't look like that will happen. 😔
