[Tonight there is a large white dog roaming the streets of Mayfield, taking full advantage of being allowed outside again. It's tough being a wolf cooped up inside, and it's even tougher being a god unable to do anything while destruction rains down on the town around you. So Amaterasu is doing what she can now, at least: trotting along the streets

[Joshua blinks at the doggy face in the window, then trots out of the house to greet her. He looks significantly more battered and tired than usual - there are burns up his feet and legs, and his hair's actually not as artfully styled as usual - but his permanently amused smile hasn't changed one bit.]

Hello, there. I hope your week was less interesting than mine.

[He gets a worried whine at his appearance, and Amaterasu sets a paw out on one of his feet so she can hold him still while she gets a good look at him. Just checking how significant the injuries are, you know. It's what a mother does.

[He lets out a quiet giggle.]

Don't worry, I'm fine. Got off relatively lightly, actually. Besides, you should see the other guys.

[She droops a little. She doesn't want to see the other guys! Humans fighting each other just isn't right. Unless...the other guys are some kind of demon? She hasn't ruled that out yet.

Still, for Joshua's sake she perks up and pants happily at him. At least he's safe now!]

[Koishi is walking past the window, a small bowl of seeds in her hands obviously meant for the birds fluttering around the living room. She pauses, though, when she notices a certain fluffy head looking in. She immediately runs over!]

Hey there!

[A happy yip from Ammy. Here's someone who's picking up her slack and feeding creatures! She lolls her tongue out in approval--and relief that Koishi is okay.]

You wanna come in?

[She sets the bowl down to open the window for Ammy. Surprisingly, the birds don't fly away; they seem quite content with where they are for now.]

[The answer to that is apparently "yes," because Ammy hops right up onto the windowsill and then scrambles through the window. She looks curiously at the birds, then nudges the bowl towards them.]

Hm? Oh, hi Sunny!

[Ammy's bark is positively gleeful. The annoying frog is gone! That would be a bad thing if Margarita looked particularly upset about it, but she doesn't, so Amaterasu can be smug.

Now, what's with the candy? Is there any for her?]

[Nope, because Surely's a jerkass. Margarita unwraps another piece of candy and looks at Amaterasu.]
