[Considering what he was, Wilhelm was hardly unused to odd situations. And he knew better then to take anything shown to him in this town at face value. Still, he's not exactly sure what the "dog" in front of him could want. So he'll see if it might respond to general speech in some way.]

[Ammy lolled her tongue out and panted cheerfully. She'd already been helped! Or at least, the gesture counted.]

[Wilhelm knelt down a little to get a better look at the animal.]

My, you're quite a fine looking creature, aren't you?

[mothersandsuns]

[Ammy ruffled her fur a little and...well, maybe she looked a bit like she was preening. She did like it when people appreciated her.]

[Quinn's putting up lights around the fence, and well, anything else he can. The drone wife had been on his case about it, and it's a nice distraction for the day. He'd much rather be doing this back home for his family, and it shows in his lonely expression. Still, he's humming some Christmas songs to himself as his works.]

[If Quinn's putting lights up wasn't reason enough to go to him, that lonely look he has would be. Ammy trots on over, approaching him from behind, and whines softly, gently. You're not alone!]

[He stops and turns around. What a pretty dog~]

Oh, hey there, pretty pooch. What's up? [He squats down to say hi. He's pretty tall after all.]

[mothersandsuns]

[He called her pretty--that's the magic word! She reaches out to give him a friendly nudge.]

[playspurrtend]

[She's just running around and playing, really, watching all the pretty likes with wide eyes because jegus this is pretty.

And then Nepeta passes by Ammy and remembers her from their first meeting. She waves at Ammy, and then:]

Hiiiii!

[Oh, it's the funny cat-girl. Ammy gives her an amiable bark to return her greeting. It's nice; not many people bother saying hello to her here.]

[playspurrtend]

[With that, she runs over and pets Ammy.]

How are you?

[mothersandsuns]

[Well, Ammy can't exactly answer that the way mortals might, so she just gives a brave little bark to convey both her fretfulness at the darkening days (she knows it's natural, but she's a sun goddess--she can't help feeling this way!) and her determination to get through them with the help of everyone here.]

[Sooooooo, let's say there's some Christmas lights up at Dawn's courtesy of drone!mom. She answers the door, greeting Ammy with a bright smile.]

"Oh, hi there!"

[There's a glad little bark in reply. Ammy knew you cared!]

[Pats Ammy on the head. Good doggy!]

[Ammy tips her head towards some of the lights, then back at Dawn.]

[Cue Ammy promptly skidding to a halt and waiting hopefully. Food?]

Hold on, I've got about a billion sausages.
