It seems that bad parenting isn't a thing of the past. Although parents aren't sacrificing their children to gods any more, they seem to still be pushing their children down the path of an early death

There's actually something to be said for a lack of parenting skills.

And that is how the Olympians come about. Although eating one's own children is an extreme example of bad parenting.

What about when those children become adults and make stupid decisions on their own?

I hope to stop these children from growing into adults and making stupid mistakes. Or, at least, limit the stupid mistakes they make.
