Yes, only Scottish Gaelic uses eu (Irish has éa), and using that spelling the pronunciation would be [ˈt̪ɾeːkən] (roughly "DRAY-kun") or [ˈt̪ɾiakən] (roughly "DREE-ah-kun". Eu represents an original long [eː] which often breaks into [ia] in the modern dialects; so probably the second pronunciation is the one that would be better.

However, having said that, I've never seen that spelling anywhere nor ever heard the word pronounced that way. The only instance I was able to find of the word spelt dreugan is in Dwelly's dictionary, where it says simply "see dràgon", dràgon (post GOC dràgan) being the usual spelling and pronunciation: [ˈt̪ɾaːkən] (roughly "DRAH-kun"]. Another word for dragon is nàthair-sgiathach [ˈn̴ãːhɛð ˈskiəhax] (roughly "NAH-hair SKEE-uh-hakh"), which literally means "winged serpent" :-).

... post GOC dràgan

Eeeee!!! Of course it is; that never ever occurred to me.
Thanks kindly for that one -- tha mise air a bhith a' cleachdadh "Dràgon" san sgeulachd agam! 'S dòcha gum bu chòir dhomh sin a chur ceart. Ach 's toil leam "dràgon" ... Hmm, 's dòcha gum bi post-d mòr a' tighinn thugad a dh'aithghearr, is attatchment Word na chois -- ma tha thu fhathast deònach sùil a thoirt air na rinn mi? Mìle taing :)

Is feumaidh mi "nàthair-sgiathach" a chur a-steach àiteigin, on a tha e dìreach cho cool.

Agus b' fheàrr leam gum b' urrainn dhomh an IPA agad fhaicinn -- coimpiutrichean gòrach.
