Due to Kindle Worlds and others that might come along, I've updated my transformative works statement (including on Fanlore's BP list) to include wording about compensation...

Blanket permission for transformative works (podfics, remixes, translations, etc.) based on my fics as long as credit is given, you link back, and you are not receiving

I hadn't even thought about updating my statement after that. Hmmm... I've been seriously debating just putting a creative commons license on all of my stuff.

Yeah, after I saw all the talk about Kindle Worlds, I realized my old policy didn't cover it.

I wasn't sure from the wording if I could actually use a creative commons license on my fic that contains characters owned by someone else, but that sounds like a good idea too.
