The only thing out of the Orange Box I've played so far is Portal. It's short, but so very sweet.

I am jamiedee on steam!!! Start with medic to learn the maps and then go onto pyro soldier and scout. THEN find the one you like. I am an engineer junkie. Tomorrow I am off and maybe i can run you through it.

I'm seanmonster on Steam, as I am everywhere.

I don't have TF2 for my computer yet, but I've played through The Orange Box on my XBOX (much love for Portal!). I recommend Soldier or Heavy to start. They're pretty basic. I love Engineers and Medics, though.

I am nofeaspo. Thanks for the advice. I take it the XBox and PC versions can't play together?

Yeah, unfortunately. There's only a few maps on XBOX Live, anyways.

I can't tell you how much I played Team Fortress Classic. I can only say it was a lot.

Team Fortress on a Mac?!! That is so wrong and weird and cool all at the same time.

Sorry, hi, I'm Rhiannon, I just stumbled across your LJ :P

Of course Crossover is required, and it takes a while to load, but it runs pretty well, even on my iMac! Plus I finally got to play Portal.

And hello Rhiannon, I'm Scott!

Hello Scott :D

I've got an old eMac (nearly five years old now.. gosh!), so I doubt it would handle that!

But I'm getting a new laptop after Christmas, converting to the dark (Windows) side, and am getting the Orange Box and Left 4 Dead asap!

I love Portal to pieces <3
