Blimey, that sounds almost as good as our old kitchen floor. On the plus side, concreteing it shouldn't cost THAT much, I wouldn't have thought...

Yes, I hope that too - not the worst scenario by a long way :-) Finding peeps with the time and inclination to fit a job in is by far the most onerous bit of it. If only I had the confidence to have a go ......
