I've been trying to read this book on my train journeys this week, but I think I may have to give it up as each time I end up with the sadness of a reduced woman - its making my brain bleed, I swear it is.

I'm heading to Bristol on Friday afternoon to visit my sis and new niecelet Isobel aka 'Lard'. Unrecognisable substance. Artfully spread part way up an upright laptop case (how for petes sake!!!) and partially over the carpet.

Gone now - welcome home.

Home from Italy - which was a marvellous holiday, more of which later.

There is a curious smell in my room. I suspect Poppy has been playing hide the dead frog again.

Last time it took several days (and a more developed smell) before finding the corpse under the red sofa.

Hope to find this one before it matures to that state.
