Stump him with the twelve ball problem. It's in one of my earlier posts. If you learn to understand the answer, it will enrich your life, also. Promise. Also, unless he's really brilliant, or has seen the problem before, or has studied Information Theory, it will take him 45 minutes to months to solve.
The problem: You are given twelve steel balls which look exactly alike and told that all of them but one are of equal weight. You are given a scale (a balance where you weigh can weigh one object or group of objects against another) and told to find out which ball is the odd one out with just three weighings.
