I know it's hard for a single person to fold queen-size bed sheets.

I've been gradually reading every issue of John Porcellino's King-Cat comics from the 80s/90s, and came across this- a letter written to him that he included at the end of issue 37. It's been stuck in my head a lot lately, and I thought it'd be a good preface to this entry ( Read more... )

did you lose something the last time you were here? csisterrible9 July 30 2008, 06:28:46 UTC
fuck .. been waiting all summer to write something like that .. that would some how sum up all of it ..

"that will leave you heavy with a different sense of life than the one you have at this moment"

i feel like that happens to me every week .. makes everything that much harder to figure out .. sounds good though .. sounds optimistic for sure ..

can always count on an inspiring mcgurk entry .. even if it is only once or twice a year

I don't know if you even read my journal but if not I'm 24 and I'm fucking nowhere. Not one step closer to graduating, I haven't had a serious relationship since 2 years ago and I question if it was for real all the time. I wait anxiously for you to post something and when you do it's like "BAM" here I fucking am. Amazing.

And when you stop and think about how you can look at someone's myspace or something and thing their life seems to be going to well and it turns out they are just as confused as you it's relief but puts in persepective how you don't really know anything at all.

If this came across bitchy or mean I totally didn't mean it that way. I don't even think I can type what I'm really thinking but keep going. Life has it's moments. Yeah I'm only 2 years older but I'm not giving up yet either.

Strangle it 'til you're too tired to stop it from getting you, or until you work up the nerve to bite its fucking head off. The only advice I have anymore.. who am I to give anybody advice.

Pretty much every time I'm on Long Island, I take the dog for a walk and I usually go past your house out of habit or the silly nostalgic off chance that you'll be outside or by a door or window and see me and come for a walk like you would when we were younger.

I was home last weekend for my grandfather's funeral and I took the dog for a walk late Saturday night.
I took a different route than usual.
I'm sorry. Not that I could have helped any more than I could ten years ago, but still.
