Ugh you should have waited until next year when I will totally be in Kyoto for eleven months and then we could have hung out as creepy American weeaboos in idk Ikebukuro or whatever district is fashionable among creepy American weeaboos nowadays

have fun, add old-school castles to the list of things to see, and when you do google maps get directions, set point A=Japan, point B=China and read direction #41, it's pretty funny :)

make sure you ZOOOM into the google map on that page though. I printed out the map too zoomed out, and as a result didn't realise it was actually on a tiny alleyway, not a main road. And therefore it was a motherbitch to find.
