It's no problem at all. Here is a zip file of it. To answer your question, I think it's partially because I am poor at time management and procrastinate by reading blogs all day T▽T
お帰り from your semester in Tokyo, by the way! Any suggestions for things to do and places to visit in the city? I will be there for a week in mid-March.
Nngh, thank you so much. This seriously is such a good collection of sad songs. I've never heard anything that sounds so much like suicide as "Snow on Dead Neighborhoods." Please continue to be poor at time management if it yields results like this. ♥
Thank you! As for things to do... I'm admittedly not really one for the traditional sites and prefer modern, busy areas. Shibuya Crossing is a must in that case, as is Harajuku, clichéd as that may be. If you want commercialism with a bit more class, visit Ginza. The Sony museum is also there, right outside Ginza station. It's free, and you can check out all their gadgets and they have a really cool 3D room on the top floor. Head to the Mitsukoshi department store in Ginza and visit the Ladurée on the 2nd floor. Go do karaoke at Pasela! Hop on the Tozai line and ride it all the way down to Mitaka and visit the Ghibli Museum (but buy your tickets first). Is there anything in particular you're interested in? I can redirect you as necessary. :)
The Snow song reminds me a lot of Radiohead's "Pyramid Song" MV! Pretty sure this is not accidental, either. I really like the feeling given off by this type of scenic, post-human bleakness~
I am interested in the things you mentioned for sure, I'd completely forgotten about the Ghibli museum! Adding them to the list. So far my options include:
- (if applicable) Hanami! Would I get trampled in Ueno Park? ;;; - (if applicable) A shrine festival. - Hie Shrine (with all the torii) - (if in Ikebukuro) The shrine where Shiina Ringo filmed the Kabukicho no Joou PV - Ghibli Museum - Mori Art Museum - Omotesaando's back streets for cool shops / independent clothing designers! - Harajuku's back streets for same! - Shimokitazawa "" - Nakameguro - spelunking @ Mandarake and/or K-Books
That's a lot so I will probably manage only a fraction, but that's ok I will come back another time.
