I GOT MY LAPTOP BACK, YAY. I also have a load of work to do for ye old university, but I can't be bothered at present. Would prefer to post something here, make some icons, etc.

aka. procrastination, but whatever. I've suddenly got the urge to share a whole bunch of fandom opinions, so here we go :D

Glee. So I know that there's a lot of people out there who don't like it this season, but I'm not one of them. The thing that I love about Glee is that it's just mindless, enjoyable television, and it's fun. So there. While I'm on the topic of unpopular opinions, I DON'T CARE WHAT ANYBODY SAYS, I DON'T SHIP KURT/BLAINE. Actually, Kurt's just been a bit annoying this season. I don't know why, but last season I loved his character, yet this season he's just... unlikeable (hypocrite here... I am Betty Draper's no. 1 fan). Anyway, that's that.

On the other hand, I love love love Sam. It's ridiculous how quickly Sam/Quinn became my otp on this show. I used to be in love with Puck/Quinn, but that basically got thrown out the window as soon as their whole courtship started. I'm digging the fact that Quinn's actually had some lines this season as well. The fight with her and Santana in one of the early eps is still one of my favorite bits of this season. AND LOL WHAT THEY GAVE SAM/QUINN THE DUET AT SECTIONALS? Awesome. Sure, she's not as good a singer as Lea Michele, but Dianna A. kinda rocked it. Just sayin'. What else? I love Mike Chang, Artie, BRITTANY!!!!!!!!! and I kinda miss Finchel. Puck is badass and hot as usual. Basically, I still love this show.

What I'm watching at present:
The Good Wife - got into this just before my computer died and I'm fully caught up now. I love love love it. Last week's, where all of the tension between the partners just went up that extra notch and GOD I'M EXCITED FOR THIS WEEK. I honestly don't think that Alicia will go with Will.. don't ask why. I can see dramazzz though. And Cary is hot. just sayin'

The Walking Dead - 3 episodes behind, but so far I'm loving this. Who wouldn't love a zombie apocalypse show? From what I hear, there's also heaps of fun stuff coming up... so that's cool. I like this show - and the guy from Love Actually is in it. :D

Downton Abbey - not sure if I ever posted about this show, but IT IS AMAZING. I don't even know how to describe it... Mary/Matthew was amazing. That whole last episode was amazing actually. Very sad, but good. The best bit about this show is that I got to write about it in one of my essays... very enjoyable stuff. And Maggie Smith? HBIC.

What else? Loving Modern Family, COMMUNITY, parenthood... have started cracking into Fringe so hopefully I can get caught up by Christmas. Don't think there's much else I'm watching... what should I be watching?

THE SOCIAL NETWORK. LOVED IT. LOVED IT. LOVED IT. JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE I WANT YOUR BABIES, BUT I WANT ANDREW GARFIELD'S MORE KK? Farrrrr out. Jesse Eisenberg was incredible as well. His character was so unlikeable, but so likeable because of that. And I know there was a lot of criticism about the lack of females in this or something, but I really don't think that was a massive deal. Because I only saw it yesterday, I'm still in the ADALKFHSASJHSAJKASJGJAKSGFJSA mode.. mainly because of Andrew Garfield's face. yeah... on the bandwagon.

Speaking of Andrew Garfield, Never Let Me Go anybody? Incredible. I cried and cried and cried. Those three, Keira Knightley, Andrew Garfield and Carey Mulligan really worked well with each other. Very very good group effort. Digging it.

What else? Harry Potter was incredible, no? Incredible seems to be my word today. Looking forward to the next one. I'm also looking forward to Black Swan (!!!!!!!), Rabbit Hole and The King's Speech.

So now, after all that, I'm thinking it's time to get caught up on that advent calender.

the social network, downton abbey, glee, the walking dead, the good wife, movies
