Not how life works - Part 1 of 2Brazil had been a typical race. Seb had finished second and Mark fourth, missing the podium yet again. Seb had secured the Driver’s Championship at the last round, so this had been a no-pressure race. For him at least. He knew Mark had hoped to be on the podium for his last race in Formula One, but things didn’t work out for Mark, as they so often didn’t. The season had been filled once more with ups and downs between the two men. Seb wasn’t sure why, but the two of them could go from extreme highs to extreme lows in a matter of minutes. What tended to complicate matters was that their lows were very public, while their highs were oh so very private. Seb always found it hard to juggle the two, but after today, he wouldn’t have to and he still didn’t know whether that was a good or a bad thing ( ... )
