OP wouldn't be against driver/anyone just roleplaying the scenario if you feel more comfortable with that.

The worst thing about getting your prompt filled so perfectly is then realizing that the filler is anonymous and you can't read everything they've ever written. This was so perfect. Nico taking care of Esteban and maybe also using that role to help himself get through it and poor trembling baby Esteban being brave for Nico and getting the job done because that's what they both need to do. ANON! OH I WISH I COULD HUG YOU FOR BEING SO BRILLIANT!

Oh goodness, I'd read the first one before but I didn't realize it had a sequel. A beautiful, painful sequel. Thanks so much for linking these here! So sad that the scenario is still completely relevant for him. :(
