From Max's Twitter: Managed to get caught up in two hail storms out on the bike this morning. Felt like I was cycling through a paintball match unclothed!

I wasn't going to fill your prompt. But then you challenged me to write this in 30 minutes. It took me 34. I think I still did okay ;)

Let the hail come downJules is looking for his gloves when he finds Max in the dressing room, his back to him, the skin freckled with bruises of all shades, from the faintest yellows to the deepest purples. He remembers Max saying he got caught in two hail storms while cycling a few days ago, and he certainly wasn’t exaggerating
