ah, Dude, I saw your icon & thought you were pissed because I somehow spoiled you w/ my one outside-the-cut line.
I do think having virtue entails being sexually discriminate in behavior, but don't believe it's true the other way around. I guess maybe that's how the people of old meant it...
LOL, no, that's just me being lazy and not picking an icon :)
I was an English major in school, so I did a lot of reading of older lit, and I remember that "women of virtue" were pretty much always virgins, so I think it's really just the language of the times. Plus, Ruby said she's several hundred years old, so it makes sense for her to still have that old grammar.
It would have been neat for there being a "bitchy" virgin, and Ruby bypassing him/her for the virgin who's truly virtuous...Nancy was pretty adorable, I must say. :)
I think they blew all the money on sfx and had none left for music. It makes me weep.
Sam: *spray paints floor* Me: WE LOST NINE MINUTES, SCULLY. Bwah!! Yes!
You didn't find Skinner sexy?! Woman.. Actually, I didn't until I met him. Without glasses. GUH. Henrickson definitely was rocking the FBI-hotness. You will be missed, Victor.
[This comment apparently brought to you by the shallow department.]
*sigh* you are right. All special effects and no rock makes Kripke a dull boy. :P
Ahh, I remember you mentioning how hot he was! And I believe you, because I see flashes of it here and there, but I would totally have to see it for myself, I think.
It's not shallow, it's an appreciation of beauty and creation. :P
But he's like a piece of candy on the sidewalk, you don't know where its been, trust us. GAH. I just roared with laughter at thsi line. Brilliant, sister. Gives me too many dirty thoughts to even mention here.
Mitch Pileggi is hot. So I've heard, via fan encounters IRL. I don't see it on the show, though, which makes me really curious to see him for myself. I do think he has a masculine magnetism thing going on, but I can't go so far as omghot.
Ooh, I think you're giving Kripke more credit for subtlety than I would. The man romps through his plots w/ a sledgehammer. XD
Shit, the deputy director seems to be channeling Brad Follmer!
OH GOD YES. No wonder why I didn't like him.
Does this mean that if they had cut Nancy's heart out, they would have won the war?
No. It would have killed all the demons within a mile radius. She was trying to make sure no one got back to mama (which she later points out at the end). In the end though, I think what happened was right in terms of war. I by no means wanted those in the station to die. But Ruby wanted to kill herself so that no one got back to Lilith. I think Lilith would have found out no matter what. So I think Ruby killing herself would have been pointless. The only thing I can think is that she was hoping Lilith was in that one mile radius.
exactly what I was thinking ahaha, so I wasn't the only one! There isn't a new ep until April right? This is the perfect point for a crossover fic...Mulder investigating Hman's death...aaghhh, I'm so excited in my fangirl parts.
The only thing I can think is that she was hoping Lilith was in that one mile radius. Oh, that is interesting.
