Heh, the TV section totally killed your mojo. :) So is there a reason you skipped Two Towers but watched the other two LOTR movies? You got something against...towers?
I've been making recommendations to people, so I shall do the same for you. (And you can borrow any of these from me if you feel like it):
Eddie Izzard - Glorious: Same caliber of funny as Dress to Kill. (See icon)
Outfoxed: Anything that exposes FOX News for what it is should be right up your alley.
Seven: Just a great (if disturbing) movie
Shattered Glass: Rather fascinating look at Stephen Glass of The New Republic (who was Jayson Blair before Jayson Blair was Jayson Blair) and his unraveling, as his editor (played by Peter Sarsgaaaaaaaaaaaaaaard) begins to figure out that he's a pathetic lying liar.
Waiting for Guffman: It's just funny. And it gets even funnier with repeated viewings.
West Wing: I think you'd dig all the political stuff. Very intelligent show and also very funny at times.
Friggin' towers. *spits in contempt* Originally, I was waiting to watch the extended DVD version of Two Towers, and then it didn't happen, and so I still haven't seen it. I liked the others, so I'm sure I'll watch it eventually.
Thanks for the recommendations. I'd definitely be interested in Waiting for Guffman and Eddie Izzard (a minor hero of mine just for Dressed to Kill). I've actually seen many of the earlier West Wing episodes (circa 2001) because I was watching with my housemates. I kind of stopped after 2002 because I'm really lazy about keeping up with shows on basic networks unless I'm watching them with other people.
Me, I'm going to recommend you watch Strictly Ballroom. And that you allow us to watch you watching it. It will be amusing. For us. ;D
Also, don't let it get out that you haven't seen When Harry Met Sally. I think the new PATRIOT Act has a clause in it about the likeliness of terrorist activity in people who haven't watched When Harry Met Sally, for those people are obviously against everything good about America. ;p
I can perhaps gather what my reaction would be to Strictly Ballroom, but I'd rather hear your theory as to why I would be such an amusement for y'all.
Re: WHMS. Here's the thing. I know I've at least seen MUCH of it, just like I've seen much of Raiders of the Lost Ark and a few others on the list. Nevertheless, I can't remeber if I've seen ALL of it, so it's not marked. Hopefully that satisfies Alberto Gonzalez, who is probably monitoring my Interwebs activity as I type this.

That's why it's always good to have enablers around at all times!
