Friday Puzzle #173 - More Artful Sudoku

With last week's logical masterpiece that matched some of the harder designs from The Art of Sudoku, here are three visual themes (with some logical consequences) that also appeared on the 2012 US Sudoku Qualifier. Dear Dr. Tom, if there is WSC next year and you still don't want to compete would you mind to be my mentor and guide me to be next champ for next year? You might be a good couch too instead of good solver.. I don't know if this can really be happen seriously in Sudoku or like with this idea. But I don't know how to contact you.

I don't mind offering solving tips and strategies, as I did in my Stanford Film Series on sudoku, and as I frequently do in my posts here as before the USPC.

I just do not see myself ever coaching a single person as I don't have the time and there are many other things including things in puzzling I'd rather be doing. You have correctly sensed that I will not be playing in any more WSCs until the format of these championships changes.

Dr. Tom, what do you think about 'marriage'? I like to know your opinion when I say that word if you don't mind. Hope you don't understand it wrongly and I hope you may reply to me back please..
