Forgive the title. I like irony. Which is why this story was born. This is the story of a man who is hunted through his lives by one woman who he had once exiled when he had been a king in a past life. This is also the story of a girl that hasn't touched the violin in ages because of the death of her older sister. What do they have in common? Nothing--until they meet.

Also came from a dream I had. This story is about a 17 year old boy who is not just an ordinary boy. His father was a scientist who create 10 alien-human hybrids. The main character is the last of these 10. The story begins after the 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th hybrids are killed by their older siblings. The reasons are a mystery to the main character until his father dies and he is thrust head-first into the world of humans, which he had been avoiding since the deaths of his brother and sister.

Money, power, sex, drugs, music--the creative outlets or the things that motivate people to do what they believe is needed to be done. Materials that are given to a person in order to determine what their goal is. Is it to live? Is it to experience? To succeed?
Or, perhaps, could it be to ruin each other, bring one another to the bottomless pits of despair? That is the amusing thing about these people who seek nothing. They will seek nothing but that one thing that keeps them going and, in the process, they may ruin the one thing they hold most dearly.

There is a mystery surrounding this prisoner that eventually takes the narrator into something that he'd never thought he'd get into.
