Magic: The Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers has reminded me how much I miss playing this game with live humans. Also, that HAS to be a record for most colons in a video game title.

Wow, that Amy game does sound interesting. I like that they're taking an approach like that to the protagonists. Depending on how it's handled it could be a very neat game.
I'm very excited about the re-release of Silent Hill 2 & 3 although I have to agree that I'm surprised about the change of the voice cast. I had read somewhere that the voice actor for James was surprised about the voice re-casting. There are rumours that it had to do with royalties to the original cast. It's kind of sad if it came down to that. To be critical, the original cast at least for 2 wasn't exactly exceptional at acting in their roles, but the performances have become really classic so it's so strange to change them now. I guess we'll see what happens. Regardless SH2 & 3 in HD is something that I just can't miss. :3
See you on Saturday! It should be a fun picnic. (^_^)

Every Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Fatal Frame, Amnesia: The Dark Decent (or as I like to call it, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!), you name it. I'm always on the lookout for a game that can scare me! Movies too, though games do it quite a bit better I find.
I agree that the V.Actors for SH2 weren't really that good, but honestly I think that kind of added to the game. I mean, they don't really sound "all there" most of them. Fitting, wouldn't you say?

I like your comment on the voice acting in 2. The sort of off-kilter performances of the VAs really did add to the unsettling feeling of the game. Not sure what a new approach would be to the acting in the game. Just changing the voices can do a lot to change the tone of the characters even if the changes won't impact the appearances of the characters.
