I can't believe it was a Tran-Siberian Orchestra song that ended up setting me off tonight. Their music is just so good... too good it seems ( Read more... )

Do we (as in the Sarnia group) really fail at Christmas so much that without Clay there is no party?

It's not just Clay. Clay hosted the non-party last year as well, but it was mostly his friends and boiled down to just another night at the bar.

No for me, the missing half is really the non-Sarnia people. You, Manda, Niall, Eric.

And we don't fail at Christmas. Most people would never have what we have had over the years in terms of Christmas memories. That's something in my books!

(I saw on FB that Drew is doing something in sarnia, are you going to that?)

I hadn't realized it was a non-event last year. I guess the solution is a Toronto/not-sarnia Christmas party somewhere? i feel like I still owe Manda a "Decemberween" party, but I know I'm probably tied up/working too much before the end of the month. Can Decemberween be in January? lol

Christmas for me is just me seeing all my relatives that I see once, maybe twice a year. I'm not really close to anyone there because I was never tight with my extended family.

It would be fun to do a holiday party here in Toronto! I'd bring cookies :P Wouldn't be the same as your friends bad home, but it's a start right?

Hopefully you'll be able to listen to your Tran-Siberian Orchestra playlist again soon.
