You think you're special, honey, but you were only ever just another.
Shouldn't you know better by now? It is those with slippery charm you must evade. Polished, practised smiles and razor-sharp wit. Lies sliding off glib tongues. As altogether unaware as you are of the shadows they cast.
Oblige me, humour me. Tell me again what I want to hear. Let that sad travesty you call sincerity glimmer through once again. Stun the weak-kneed and vulnerable as you do; allow them to trust in a sham. A sham, a sham, but what a comforting sham. We'll count how many clung on like I did.
This time you wouldn't stop. Not even when I kept the door locked, not even when I kept my hands over my ears, not even when I yanked my comforter over my head, not even when I blasted shit through my speakers, not even when I played three songs simultaneously to cover up any lulls in one song to drown you out effectively (it failed). Huiyi says I'm autistic. (:
Today was a mad scramble around the north of Singapore in the rain in an attempt to rush materials for OP. Had a nice time ambushing wary little IJ girls with you guys. ♥ Also, I am now inclined to believe we look beastly/ monstrous/ evil because this girl literally had her jaw drop open gaping at Xinghao and I when we entered dripping wet at the side gate of the primary school compounds. ): She then picked up her bag and ran away, stealing glances at us over her shoulder the whole time she made her escape. Or then again... maybe he really just looks like a serial rapist. Sorry Xinghao. No more girls' schools, k, promise. Okay and last time I'm recounting this too.
Admittedly P1 IJ girls are the cutest things ever. But they are also evil. I swear. And they don't keep still. I had a lovely time laughing my ass off at Elizabeth chasing after groups of them at a time SRSLY she looked like some frenzied mother goose running after her spazzed-out goslings and coaxing them to stay still. So yeah, we cornered a whole bunch of them and almost managed to whip them into submission and then... the... bloody... recess... bell... rang... and they all screamed and ran away. After like 10 minutes of running around the whole canteen. NICE.
Eventually, to sum it up, we got a bunch of Guides to do our bidding, Elizabeth and Pau literally chased and ambushed some poor girl and her sister outside the school, and when I arrived we got scolded by some eccentric old woman, and then as we were walking back we ambushed yet another pair of girls, and then in the middle of the pavement in the drizzle the three of us started whooping and high-fiving each other in sheer relief and we all returned to Xinghao at the bleachers pretending to be a tracker. The end. Time to practise my script before the devil slaughters me.
