Tuesday Movie Roundup #2

The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift - I can't recall the last time I've seen so many cheesy cliches strung together. This movie was fantastic and is easily the best of the three Fast and Furious movies. More racing and less half-assed cop story to get in the way.

vanilla sky twisted my head and good the first time i saw it. and it has the doot doot song! i still need to see the spanish original.

I actually liked the original better. Incomparable!

Vanilla Sky is pretty good, too, but I can only take so much Camerone Crowe in one sitting and Vanilla Sky is like sitting inside his head...while he is listening to VH1.

I thought Abre Los Ojos basically just told the story in a more straightforward manner without the oh-so-directorial flourishes.

I keep meaning to rent Elizabethtown, if only for the soundtrack. I know that "Come Pick Me Up" is the song for the credits and, somehow, that amuses me like nothing else.
