I have no idea what use you would have for this, but if you want I can hook you up with a .ai file of it.

Trent here.

Russell sent me a great idea. We should break into two-man teams and do this comic-book thang. One writer, on artist per team. Writer writes a short script (say anything from 5-20 pages) and the artist must realize the script in comic book form.

What say you gents?

that doesn't sound like a bad idea, except we have way more artists than writers.

and speaking primarily for myself, artists with limitations on what they could draw in a comic.

I was thinking something along the same lines. To be honest though, I'd prefer a 5 page script to a 20 page one. I've never drawn a paneled page in my life, so I don't want to get in over my head before I even know what I'm doing. Can you work within that much of a page restriction?

Your (I'd say OUR, but I haven't done jack shit for it...) website is fucking awesome. Seriously, I love the color scheme, the illustrator art style (which I've been using for a while without being able to figure out crap for it, but I only use it to make math related drawings, so...yeah), and I love Kevin's G.I.Joe/8-bit videogame design idea. I only wish I had something worthwhile to contribute to this orgy of coolness.

I'm way impressed.

Thank you, but I'm honestly shocked you'd say that. What I have up now shows absolutely zero skill with design. Frankly, I think it's flat out ugly. But I'm glad to hear you're pleased with it, so thanks again.

I'm sure it's a hassle, but if you want to snail-mail me xerox's of drawings like you have in the past, I'll make you a gallery on the site. I know I've been bad about posting your stuff in the past, but a large part of that has to do with me not wanting to make every single entry in this here LJ an art dump. Send me some jonx should you feel so inclined holmes.

The site reminded me of the communications rooms sprinkled througout Bionic Commando (the single greatest 8-bit side-scroller ever made for Nintendo).

Kevin - artist
Russell - artist
Trent - writer
Todd - artist
Geoff - writer
Chance - artist/writer

Hmmmm, what the fuck ever I'm writing a script and I wanna see that shit in comic book form.

If anyone has any basic ideas they'd like me to flush out, feel free to pass them along.

I think it's awesome you're so gung-ho about doing this. I don't have a ton of ideas (I think my creativity departed when I hit puberty). How 'bout Major Chaos? Could that dude be serialized? I think that would make a pretty kick ass, retro, US Army vs The Axis of Evil style book.

now you're talking, Major Chaos could totally work. How about War Men, I always loved the War men Concept.
