Pain makes me puke, too. Bad headaches/migraines in particular. When I was in labor, I puked. And that's when my little boy popped out. I had been pushing for 2 hours, no progress. One good barf and out he came. The midwife was like "Yes! That's it!!!" as if we had finally hit the winning combination, and I'm barfing apple juice into an emesis basin thinking "oh, goody". So, puking could be beneficial. Just sayin'.
