If nobody else has informed you - the Malnosso appear to be conducting an experiment involving spontaneously changing the species of various individuals in Luceti.

Normally I am a human - homo sapiens sapiens - but apparently the Malnosso felt it prudent to misinterpret a prior statement of mine. [He smiles wryly, as much as you can do so when your face is a beak.]

I would wonder if other peoples' transformations are as... ironic as mine seems to be.

[A cerberus finally manages to get the journal open using two of its heads. The center head, on the verge of laughter, speaks up.] I dunno, but it's pretty neat! Zehahahahaha! [The other two heads bark in agreement; they're constantly angry and fearful, and only speak when he's feeling that way.]
