I have a Maine Coon cat, too, but he's too lazy to start that kind of trouble. :)

noooo- raccoons live under my house (they like the bathtub). the dude who installed the tile didn't use "wonderboard", which is waterproof, he put it up on regular drywall, which rotted out, and the water from the shower loosened the tiles.

the raccoons were nosing around, and they pushed the tile in... my kitty cat is investigating : )
