probably not - i've thought about it but it would still be supporting something i ideologically oppose. claire compared it to a "gateway drug" hahaha once you start voting you might be able to justify to yourself to vote on other things!! but i think voting on the proposals/local things is probably a lot more effective than federal elections. i am glad you are voting yes or i wouldn't be your friend (JUST kidding.) my landlord put a huge a NO on PROP. 2 sign in our yard, it's embarassing!!!!!
oh and ashley i hope you don't think i was taking a stab at you with this entry cause i just realized you said something before about how you think someone doesn't vote they can't complain and i did NOT intend any kind of personal attack or anything [i don't think you took it that way but just so we're clear......]
hahaha no i didn't take it personally at all. i've heard people besides me say that a million times before :P i'm not saying they can't complain, i just don't like when people who aren't politically active in any way complain about politics, it's not just with voting. a lot of people don't vote because they are lazy, but you have reason and logic behind your decision. voting just happens to be how i am politically involved [which isn't as much as i should... i'll admit!]
okay this is getting longer than i intended. all in all, no offense taken. :P :P
