Systems and controls is too hard for me. :( I'm almost totally clueless, we're not really supposed to work in groups asking questions, and I don't want to just leach off someone, and I just got one response to an email question (the response was "I guess..." or something to that effect) by the substitute since the professor left

Nope, you don't have to be a bad student like me, and my grad classes are totally different than what you would be taking. :P

You aren't supposed to be able to finish everything in grad school. At least, that is what my math professor said about her experience.

Perhaps, but being able to keep somewhat even with everyone else (especially the people who finish it all and understand stuff in class) would be nice. I'm being a bad student which is part of it.

No, it's dictated by the class/professor. This one has a specific policy on it, otherwise we get turned in to the dean.
