expecting less than AWESOME from other people will cause them to be less awesome too.

it's true! it's true! i've seen it in action at workplaces too many times to count, & enough times to count on it.

(i also find that when working with a difficult client, the printer jams at all the most inopportune moments, but that's another study entirely.)
