I'm reading this book called "Chicago" by Alaa Al Aswany. It's really starting to piss me off. The entire narrative is told through this weird, racist lens that I find off-putting. I'm at that annoying point where you know you're not going to enjoy the book but you're too far along not to finish it.

If I don't like a book, I can't finish it. Only once did I use your same reasoning, that I was too far along, and I regretted it. Never again. If I hate it, I have to stop.

I understand your reasoning. Sometimes you just have to see what happens, even if it's awful.
