and perhaps now it's yet again time for mikey to move on in his every so random life path. today i received a letter from the department of romance languages and literatures at boston college. i have been accepted with a full scholarship and a stipend of almost thirteen-fucking-thousand dollars a year as a teaching fellow. i will start teaching ( Read more... )

thanks! so did you decide on columbia, then? what a great city to go to school in. if i had taken the gre's then i would've applied to nyu and columbia (tho their dept does sort of stink, they do give a lot of money!)-- perhaps our paths will cross anyways one day, jym!! :)

no... i think i will do md.phd at weill cornell--better clinical training and translational research. 28k a year isn't so bad, either.

thanks- as for me being a fun spanish teacher, well, that's yet to be determined! i'd prolly be too nervous about getting shit right to be effective at all. either that or i'll be too busy sleeping with my students.
