i'm staying with the gvo. in the end the deciding factor was the quality of the other orchestra i joined. bad and i mean baaaaaaaaaaaaadit'll cost me my tuesday nights and a whole lotta moola but the orchestra's so worth it. so what if they're a bunch of pretentious snots? it's the music that counts, right? besides, we'll be featured at the union ( Read more... )

I was on a study abroad program with FSU. Our program was housed in a dorm called Galileo Galilei on the campus of the Universitat Politécnica. Tram stop Tarongers. About a 10 minute walk from the beach.

All I can suggest is enjoy the music with them. Take it for all it's worth, but no beer afterwards! Don't feel socially inclined if you don't care for them. A trap I have fallen into several times. And no making out!
