LotS recast, take 2
For Legendland, we had to recast the characters again. This time, we were allowed to change things up, so I chose to make everyone female.
Archie Panjabi as Kahlan
She just has that kick-ass attitude. Plus the stare that makes it seem like she is looking into your soul. At least as Kalinda, so I'm sure she could pull it off as Kahlan too. Plus, she looks good in white. :)
Claudia Black as Richard
So, in these pictures, you'll have to imagine a sword instead of a gun, but wouldn't it be so perfect? She is another actress so capable of pulling off kick-ass.
Lana Parilla as Darken Rahl
As the Evil Queen, Lana already looks regal and can effectively portray wielding magic. Plus she could totally handle the moral ambiguity of Rahl.
Tricia Helfer as Nicci
She was Six on BSG, so she has already been a sexual, powerful woman with questionable loyalties. And she looks good in black. :P
Cote de Pablo as Raina
I wanted to use a Mord'Sith, but I didn't want to recast Cara again. So I went with Raina. I think Cote has the ability to look Mord'Sith-like, but also looks like she could pull off the researcher role.
