Kamikazie costuming Pt. 2
Or, the Wrath of FRAYING!!!! (Picture Shatner saying that one...)
So, got the second mock-up done, right? And it FIT! ZOMG THAT CALLS FOR COOKIES!!! (Nothing EVER fits me the first time...or the second, generally) So I got started cutting out the nice fabric (Which was actually THE SPAWN OF THE DEVIL! You'll see...) Pattern pieces, from the second mock-up:
And on the fabric:
Look at all the fabric I have left! (I only started out with 4 yds.)
In fact, it was another 2 yards, so I made 2 underskirt layers with it!
Then, without sleeves, putting it on:
I then put the sleeves on, and it all went downhill from there...but its ok, I know how to fix it...

And Fluffy (Teal'c was hiding on the china cabinet. Yes, ON the cabinet..)
Proper pictures coming as soon as I get the other SD card...I'll make another post when I get them. Its put together, still need to hem it, add a zipper, and a snap to the underskirts...
