had cold sores on my lips... and related sore throat and slight fever... went to see the company doctor... she decided to start me on the nasal spray... she felt that i do have a sinus problem... before that she was treating my gastric...

as we both know, i am not a medical person.... but in my profession, i've learnt to relate situations and examine if there is link. on reading your entry, i was immediately struck that your gastric illness OR treatment may have led to your cold sores. again, purely speculative but no harm seeking second opinion if the current treatment doesn't help. take care
