Was that the AWD version of the colt vista? my parents had Dodge AWD version of one and it actually a pretty decent machine for getting up to the ski slopes - other than the two transmissions it went through :( And my parents never named their cars.

I however have had two cars that got named by friends. My VW bus was "The Beast" according to a couple of my friends. My Toyota MR2 got called "The Mister" by a past roommate. As in "The Mister sounds a little sick, is he running all right?" However I have never really called either of them by those names.
