I do not hate you.

I'm reasonably certain none of my friends hate you.

I will never understand why you seem to desperately want to believe we do.

The only thing I hate is this misconception that we hate you.

Please stop convincing yourself that you are not loved.

What, again? No offense to Dan (if he reads this), but it feels sometimes like he has a whole different set of friends who treat him badly but who, for some reason, he can't seem to distinguish from those of us who actually like him. Depression, isolation, loneliness... these things I can understand, but I'm not sure I have a frame of reference for this situation. That said, this time I didn't even know there was an issue. Something with the kickball maybe?

For the record, if you're reading this, yes Dan, we really do like you; we're just at a loss as to what you're looking for from us.

Anyway, yeah. I hope you guys have a great holiday weekend. I'll be working again (of course), but maybe I'll give a call or something. Either way, have a great day Brandon (and anyone else reading this.)

Maybe there are evil clones of ourselves living in Maryland who abuse him on a daily basis. I really have no idea.

All joking aside, however - Dan, stop wondering if we genuinely like being around you. I have not the time, energy, nor patience to construct an elaborate ruse to fool someone I dislike into thinking that I am friends with them.

it's hard to clarify on a Facebook status, but that was about A.) People from work and B.) people here locally.. I always get worried when I try and post something because I'm always vague or not specific about things, so I didn't mean to make you guys upset or worry. With everything goin on with the Thom shit down here, I haven't gotten any phone calls returned or messages responded to from people and it's just my assumption that they don't want me around so they can hang with Thom. And then, I've been screwing up at work a lot lately, and I beat myself up pretty bad about it. Majority of the people I work with in grocery REALLY roll their eyes at me ( ... )
