So who's going to get rooms for next year, since Papa will be indisposed being in Japan and whatnot at the end of this year's con?

As I've said before - I always get rooms at every con. Trick is that new damn Otakon/Con Center housing-system.

Well, if you can grab an extra room at a good location, I will certainly be able to fill it with people and take it off your hands. I'd love to be able to get in at the Days Inn or the Hilton, as both are in totally primo locations with regard to the BCC.

That's where I am this year, the Hilton. I've heard some EPICNESS about a place near the con - 2 1/2 blocks away but 133 a night and you get a SUITE.

I must say I envy you young'uns and your ability to plan that far ahead. Of course, with the work I've been putting in the last few weeks, I envy most people their ability to walk upright and chew gum at the same time. :)

Of course, you guys can envy me my Staff position, because *I* don't have to worry about where my room will be. Just sayin'... :)

You really have to plan this far ahead. As soon as one person finds out the dates for next year's con, the Days Inn and Hilton will be completely sold out for that weekend within about 2 minutes. :(
