Change of Pic?

My roomie thinks that I should scrap the image I'm currently using as my avatar because I'm a guy.

That may well be, but Osaka is my namesake! She is such a dead-ringer for me in behaviour, attitude, and manerism!

Now the question is, should I replace the image due to possible gender confusion, or do I leave it?

I believe that it is generally unimportant for the truth in your posts whether you are male or female. To those that are interested in it, so that they may better understand what you are intending to tell us, your user-profile offers your name. I assume that should be absolutely sufficient. Indeed, i think that choosing a picture that you feel reflects your soul is by far more important for understanding you, than a picture that represents your gender.
