The latest quirk on my computer is that on the LJ pages, the first inch of text on a page is covered by the LJ header. Makes it difficult for someone like me who's new to it and can't read the instructions

I don't think I do anything special. I just talk about fruity stuff a lot.

I know how you feel about the jargon pushing out the english, though. There have been times where I'm trying really hard to remember a word that I know is exactly what I mean, and it takes half a minute, but 'phenotypic plasticity' is on the tip of my tounge.

I think I remember Salman Rushdie being pretty dense stuff, though, and interesting too. Grimus (his first publication) is almost like sci-fi too.
