Hmm, I think that Harry and Ruth still could have a happy ending even post-5x05. She's not dead and she could still be proved innocent, I think. But if they don't go in that direction, I hope that when Harry's done with the service that he'll find his way to her.

Fantastic picspam!

I know you were excited about Ruth having her own office, but she doesn't. It's even better, she took over Harry's office to conduct her secret investigation. If you watch that scene, when Harry first enters the hub he looks to his left over to Ruth's desk. She's not there, so he probably thinks she followed his advice, but then he opens his office door and there she is. I'm pretty sure no one before or since has been so brazen or make that, so comfortable, with Harry.

I haven't seen that episode in ages, although you might be able to tell it is one of my favorites.

Oh man, you're right, that is better!!! I swear everyday I discover a new moment about these two and it makes my day.

And with good reason. It not only had some great moments but everyone actually working as a team, which I hear was lacking during the latter seasons.

Spooks! Harry/Ruth!

What I love most about this show is also what breaks my heart - the characters' exits.
I know what you mean. I'm rewatching S3 at the moment... well, at least I was. I'm about half way through but I've taken a break because I'm trying to prepare myself for the eventual departures. I've such a soft spot for Zoe and Danny especially.

We seem to have plenty of other interests in common other than Spooks, mind if I friend you? :)

I got accidentally spoiled for both of their departures but it still hurt when I saw it eventually. Just... UGH. Sometimes I hate that these guys have to leave, and that Spooks made it really clear that anyone can leave anytime, because they made the show so great.
