I regret not pulling the trigger on Aaron when I had the chance. He got off free. Free. Lilly is still dead. Dad almost died.

But Logan's right. I guess I'm not a killer. Even when the other person deserves to be punished.

I miss him.

I'm glad you didn't kill someone.

It'd make me as bad as him, wouldn't it?

But I regret it sometimes. He may be dead now, but I want to wipe that smug look from his face when he was found not guilty.

It would. And then you'd feel bad about it for a long time.

It doesn't matter what his face is though, he's dead now. He can't hurt anyone.

[ This response comes a few minutes later. She didn't have to think about it to know Parker was right. ]

I like to think so. Even though there's so much hatred in my heart for him ... how does one live life like normal after that?

There's video footage. I think he can still hurt. He just can't kill anymore.

There've been people that I have wanted to kill in the past, and I regretted not doing so.

But I think when you kill someone, it takes something away from you. Something you can never get back.

I don't know. I think it's good you aren't a killer. I wouldn't want to be.

Sorry about the friend that you miss.

I can agree. I don't think I would've been able to live with myself if I had. But I just wish that he hadn't gotten off scott free.

You've got a good head on your shoulders. Whoever you've wanted to hurt? I believe in karma. They'll get what they deserve. Aaron did. I just wish the circumstances were slightly different.

Thanks. My friend may have made ill choices, but she didn't deserve to be murdered.

Then it's really good that you didn't. Yeah, that isn't right at all. Justice should happen. No one should be above it.

Thank you. They did in the end even if they hurt and killed quite a few more people afterward. It's good that Aaron did too. Suppose the universe has its own form of justice sometimes. I wish they would have too for your sake and your friend's.

No one does.

Sometimes I think the universe works too slow.

Do you believe in karma?

I'm sorry about Lilly whoever she was.

It's good that you're not a killer. There are enough of those in this world.

Thanks. She was my best friend.

And enough get off free. I guess I should count my blessings that his freedom didn't last too long. But I wish everyone knew what kind of person he was. He fooled everyone.

... Aaron's an actor. You can imagine what he was like on the stand. Pulled the dramatics right out of his ass.

I'm sorry about that. It

You're never really the same after something like that.

He deserved to receive punishment and for everyone to know what happened, what he did.

I can imagine that, yeah. Sometimes dramatics are called for.

I'm not usually a good judge of character when it comes to things that aren't crimes like infidelity, but it sounds like you lost someone too. And if you did, I'm sorry. It seems like the thing we all seem to have in common is loss in this alternate Chicago.
