if i was a teacher, i'd make my kids do the worst things.
even if you think you were hollow inside, how'd you ever doubt you had a functioning mind, it works better than probably everyone your age i've ever met.

is it obvious when a camera has interchangable lenses? or could a lot of cameras have it and someone who doesnt know about camera's just wouldnt find out? how do you take pictures of yourself like you do without a flash? or without "noise" blurring up the picture because of lack of flash? you need to teach me everything you know, no matter how long it takes.

i would definitely teach you. it is very rare to find a digital camera with changeable lenses, but almost all medium to high quality 35mm (film) cameras have interchangeable lenses. the reason that this canon is so expensive is because it is an entry level digital camera (not quite professional) that uses any universal canon lens. PRETTY COOL for $900. i take pictures without flash because i have a self timer and that reduces blur on both of my new-ish cameras (digital and 35mm), and on my manual i just set the self timer and turn the flash bulb off. this only works in good light where the shutter speed will be quick for the new cameras. the manual camera's shutter speed is always the same. because it is fully manual. it isn't having no flash that gets the noise in the picture, it's motion or graininess from poor lighting. flash is usually bad. in my photo class it is a deadly sin. THIS COMMENT WAS WAY WAY WAY TOO LONG! i am sorry. <3.

no, it was good, dont apologize, i was serious, i want to learn!

i didnt know the shutter thing, i'll try faster speeds, instead of slow. and i'll try my own lighting, the self timing, i'll do that too.

thank you... keep the information coming, or any other little tidbit, and when i post pictures, tell me everything wrong with them please

to where? it's only 3 hours away. my mother would have to come back 2 or 3 times a month because of her business. you could come stay with us whenever you want, and we'd be in the coolest city in florida.

don't leave, because then we'd likely be REALLY far apart. nothing at all has been organized yet. i may just use someones' address in boca and take tri-rail to dreyfoos every morning next year (if i get in). there's a lot that we're thinking about doing. there's a lot going on. we'll talk. we'll take pictures this weekend and we'll talk.

you are switching schools again for sure?

fuck.
then forget it.
i won't fucking go.

yeah, unless i want to continue rotting my mind out in parkland where kids crash their 2002 BMWs and get a new 2004 the next day. and where people have no common sense. not even uncommon sense.

warhol's ealier work (with the exception of the self-portraits in the 80s) is his best, but later, esspecially after the velvet underground and movies and such, i think that lichtensteins work in that time is better ( ... )

have you been to the warhol museum? in chicago, i believe?

my favorites are the earliest self portraits, and the war-ish ones he did in the 60s while vietnam was going on. don't get me wrong, i like lichtenstein, i'm just a warhol fanatic. i think i love everything he has ever done. but i love most that in interviews, when someone asked why he painted something or what it meant, he would just say, "i don't know."

there may be one in chicago, but i think i've been to one in pittsburg...or philadelphia?
i know i've been to one.

i found how he did his early prints really interesting, by working like a machine, and playing the same "pop" song of hte time over and over and over and over. very interesting man.
