i want to move to the city and work as a waitress and have only enough money to buy green paint for the walls and pay the water bill and buy shoes for the rest of my life but write or take photographs or drink hard liquor or whatever it is that i'm good at doing forever and ever every day (except when i'm waitressing).

ME TOO. a few months ago i really wanted the city to be new york, but now i'm thinking portland, oregon. although i can't really say for sure because i haven't been to either.

anyway, i definitely think you should go for it. it's better to try and not get in vs. wonder what could have happened. but of course it's ultimately your decision and you should do what you feel/think.

you shouldn't pass the interview up, you are extremely talented from what i can see, i am planning on going to art school, and if you look a couple entries back i'm not that ta1ented a photographer, but you can always work on those things.

i'm glad for the $5 offer. makes me think of all the times i was too scared to kiss someone or didn't want to seem too presumptuous. "here just let me give you $5 so i can have this certain experience." that's ok. just another way of getting along. it's right funny in fact. reminds me that kissing is for fun and you remind me living is mostly for fun. kiss live kiss with the spirit of a child and you'll always be fine.
